Black Isle is a small proudly independent brewery in the heart of the Scottish highlands. Surrounded by wonderful countryside and fields of barley, we are dedicated to producing fine beers made from the finest ingredients. We are a totally organic brewery and all our beers are approved by The Vegetarian Society and The Soil Association. Our range consists of three delicious bottle conditioned beers and three cold filtered beers including Yellowhammer - the winner of the Soil Association 2008 Organic Food Awards. Bottle conditioned beers enjoy a second fermentation in the bottle, so they create their own natural effervescence, much in the same way as Champagne gets it bubbles. |
